How to draw up a list of references in the dissertation?
General provisions The list is an obligatory part of the course and diploma thesis and shows the listener's ability to apply in practice the knowledge received during the study of the relevant disciplines. The list includes bibliographic information about the sources used in the preparation of the work. It is also recommended to include bibliographical notes on cited in the text of the work documents and sources of factual or statistical information (in this case the footnotes or intra-text bibliographical references are not formalized). In works of retrospective or review character it is necessary to mention this or that edition. If the list includes bibliographic information about publications with which the listener was not directly acquainted, in the bibliographic record indicates the source of information, from which the data about the publication are taken (by the form: "Cited from ..." or "Cited from ..."). List if references must be made by certain rules: Selection of literature. Indicates the literature used in the preparation of the work. Descriptions of sources.
Each record of a book or article is a brief bibliographic entry that includes basic information: - author's surname and initials; - title; - output data: place of publication, publisher, year of publication; - number of pages. Registration of references in the text Bibliographic references are used: - when citing; - when borrowing provisions, formulas, tables, illustrations; - when it is necessary to refer to another edition, where the issue is more fully set out; - when analyzing in the text of published works. Myself to understand it is difficult enough,so with the dissertation can help study bay, part of the recommendation I took from here. There are two types of bibliographical references: In-text . Placed directly in the line after the text to which they refer. Formalized in parentheses with an indication of the number in the list of references, for example, (31). References to several specific works of the author may be given, for example, in the form (12-17, 19). When citing, and in cases that require a specific page of the source, in brackets additionally indicate a page (12. P. 7) or pages "from - to" (19. P. 7-9). |
